Sunday October 20th.. 

.Ford Performance Vehicles were doing the big launch of the new cars at the Motorshow, and approached the Tickford club to put on a display outside the exhibition center. We were only too happy to help out. How often do you get the opportunity to have your car on display at darling harbour, or even get to go, and not have to pay for parking.

Mr Plow, and I approached Brad Garlic ford about the possibility of getting any nice cars for the display, and they said they would sort something out, and let us know. The Friday before the display, I went up to pick up the car they loaned us for the weekend -A beautiful Herrod Modified 250kw Pursuit ute, that now punched out over 300kw !

I baby-sat the ute till Saturday night, when Chris (the club president) came over to pick up the car, as he was going to be driving it to the show on Sunday.

Sunday morning, I was up early. I met up with Mr. Plow, and Taxi Rob in Silverwater, and followed them down to darling harbour. We waited for the 40 or so club members to turn up, and then set up our display outside the exhibition center. Gow St Smash repairs had there BRute, and there work car there.

The display went very well. We got a prime position, and had a constant flow of people looking at the cars all day. FPV are going to try and organise another display next year. I hope so.
