Thursday November 27th to Sunday November 30th.
 

I just love the V8 Supercars!! I had to go down to Eastern Creek on Tuesday to collect my passes and stuff as I was working as a scrutineer again. (YAY).

I had to head over on Thursday to scrutineer the V8's. There wasnt too many people there. I got the task of checking all the drivers apparel. That was cool (although it was a bit smelly with some drivers). Got to chat to a lot of the drivers, and see all the transporters.

On Friday I got there bright and early, and was assigned a few tasks to do, such as checking the profile of the rear wings, and also I had to watch while 3 "random" cars had petrol testing done. The 3 random cars were Skaife (1), Murphy (15) , and Ambrose (4) (funny that huh!). The guy from Avesco said to pick a car each, and go to the pits. I was just about to say "I'll take 4", but the head scrutineer looked at me and said - "You arent getting ambrose, you are getting Skaife!" (I think he knows I am a ford fan hehehe)

Saturday I was only there for about 1 hour, as I had to go to work. So I just went down to pick up my uniform ( a very sexy black number, with yellow paw prints all over it). I sorta wish I hadnt gone to work that day. Had some bad news about the deptarment and redundancies.

Anyways - I was back again on Sunday, determined to have fun. It was STINKING HOT though. I was assigned the MGF class, so I knew I had some work ahead of me (they always smash or burst into flames). Got to do 3 accident reports. :(

Then it was time for the big race. I was assigned Team Dynamik (same as Oran Park). I went over, said hi to Oscar the team manager, and got ready for a long race. The race started off pretty uneventfull. It was still very hot, and things were going smothely. The team let me raid there fridge for cold drinks (thanks guys!!). Then about halfway through - the race got VERY interesting. An incident with Skaife, and Ingall had me rolling on the floor laughing, and the crowd cheering. The not long after that - it got very windy, with big dark clouds. Within minutes it was pouring rain. Then the power went out, and everything went into kaos. The race ended early, with a FORD VICTORY !!! WOOHOO.!!
