Thursday February 21st. 

 I left to go to melbourne at about 9:45. I met up with "Venom" at Penrith, and we set out.

The trip was actually pretty good. There was a few road works, but the roads where pretty quiet. We stopped at Yass, Albury and Glenrowan for petrol / toilet / food stops.

We made it into Broadmeadows at about 6:45 pm, where "Laminge" was meeting me so I could follow him to "XA-Coupe's" place. Whilst we were there, Geoff Polites came out to say hello!!

The day started with a tour of the Ford plant at Geelong. It was really interesting seeing how they make the panels for the cars. After that, we headed over to the Ford discovery center. There is a lot of interesting cars on display over there, and our tour guide Felicity  really seemed to know her stuff!!

I was starting to feel really sick at this point, and after the tour went back to where I was staying and relaxed for a while.

After a nice sleep in, I had to be at Tickford headquarters by 3pm for a meeting. Unfortunately I was a little late, and missed the meeting. DOH!!.  The NSW club then headed over to Ford Headquarters for a group photo. I was the only car that couldnt get up the gutter and onto the grass!. Luckily "Mystery Sam" had a few planks of wood in his car, and I managed to get my car up!

We took photos for about 20 mins before heading back over to tickford, and from there to the winery where we were having dinner.

Unfortunatly I ended up getting really really sick that night, and after spending 15 mins puking I had to get one of the guys to drive me back. I missed out of the Sat night fun I had been really keen to go to, and instead went to bed early.

Well, after not getting much sleep at all during the night, I got up really early and somehow managed to get back to Tickford to set up my car for the show.

I did the judging for the SA club, and had a bried walk around to see the T Series, and Mustangs . I got a ford flag signed by some of the V8 supercar drivers, and also spent a little time at the Ford Forums stand.

At 3pm I left, and still not feeling to well, had tracey, and adviliax drive me back to sydney.
