| 25th Annual ALL FORD DAY.
Another early morning for me. I was up at 06:00 so I could get ready and meet Jason at Carlingford at 06:45, before heading out to Peter Warren Ford in Warwick Farm for the All Ford Day. Didn't take us too long to get out there. We met jeff at the Hungry Jacks, and then decided to go in, to get the cars set up. Trent was already there. He had been inside the complex since 06:00, and was trying to make sure there would be enough room for the rest of the cars from the club. |

My car was still clean, cos I had it washed 2 days ago (before going
to wakefield) so all I really needed to do was to clean up the rims, and
spray tyre shine on the tyres.
Wasn't long before a few other club members arrived. We ended up with 10 cars on display in the club area. I guess the weather turned a lot of people off (really cold, really cloudy, and it rained for a little bit too) |
| There was a lot of really nice cars on display. Every ford you could
think of. Cortina's, Escorts, Falcon's, Fairmonts', Thunderbirds, Galaxies,
GT's, Mustang's, Lasers etc etc.
There was even an authentic GTHO Phase 4 (one of only 4 made). I think my favourite car was the Bright yellow escort "Bart". There
is a nice little airbrushed graphic on the back with Bart Simpson saying
"Eat my shorts".

At one point during the day, there was a few people crowded around
my car, someone asked me "Is this your car?", I said yes. They then asked
me "can you start her up?".. I had to oblige!
At the end of the day, all the prizes where being given out. When we heard that the winner of "Top Modern" was Trent's EL XR6 we where all pretty happy. Trent was jumping around like a maniac with the biggest grin on his face. He then managed to get Glen Seton to come around to the club area to sign his car, and get a few photo's taken. |
