All Ford Day
Peter Warren Ford, Warwick Farm.

100 years of Ford

Sunday July 27th 2003.

.Today is my last day of holidays, and I had to be up at 5:30 to get ready for the show. I was over at Peter warren last night moving all the cars out, and then went out to dinner, so I didn't get much sleep.

Regardless, I got up, got dressed, and headed out. On the way over there, there was GT's everywhere!! Every set of lights I pulled up at, there was a GT next to me. A HO was next to me at one point, and when it pulled away, it started of slow, and then gave a little bit of throttle to the limit. It sounded AWESOME!. (droooool)

After arriving and setting up my car, I was trying to do traffic control. Getting the 45 Tickford cars into the right spots, and facing the right directions. Ben "Brittney" had organised everything perfectly, and we had all the cars set up in no time.

I spent most of the day walking around looking at all the cars (and drooling). At one point someone came up to ask if I was the owner my car (well - he actually used my cars nick name). I said yes, and he introduced himself as the owner of the HO I had seen earlier in the morning. I told him his car sounded awesome, and he asked about my car. He said he had be warned not to give me a run by other GT owners, as they had seen me in action at various track's and on the dyno. hehehehe.

By the end of the day, we were all exhausted, and wanted nothing more than to go home to bed, but all the new cars had to be moved back to were they belong. I got to drive quite a few. New BA V8's, 6's, Focuses, Explorer's, Jeeps, Commodores, Excel's, Camry's, EVERYTHING. Was good to drive all the different cars. Makes you really appreciate your own car. :P
