Sunday April 27th, 2003

I wasn't entirely sure I was going to be going to this show. I had filled in the entry form a month or 2 ago, and never sent it on. So on Friday arvo I rang up and asked if it was too late to enter. I was told to just pay on the day.

I spent all day Saturday washing and polishing my car. On Sunday night I went over to a mates place to get some fliers for the Sydney Cruise Registry, but before I left, one of the guys put a SCR Sticker on my car..."only a small one"

Anways - I was up bright and early Sunday morning, and I headed out to the show. I wiped the car down after parking it, and then got a few photos before it started to rain. It then continued to rain ALL DAY!!! I couldn't even put my bonnet up.

I ran into "WLDWGN" who was there without his car (due to a slight mishap involving a truck running him off the road) and spent most of the day with him and "Team Dream".

As the trophies were being presented, I decided to head off, as I knew I would have difficulty leaving the display area (slight hills, grass, rain, and V8's don't get along). Would have been an awesome day it it wasn't raining so much, but hey - what can you do?!?

I will be back next year though.
