I have been waiting for another drag racing attempt since May 16th. Today I finally got my chance.

There was supposed to be a few of us going out tonight, but some people pulled out at the last minute... leaving only myself and Tim competing.

Tim and I got out to eastern creek at about 4:30. This time the scruiteneering was a lot more strict. The guys checked the engine, the lights, the tyres.. EVERYTHING!! They even checked to make sure my helmet was approved.

My first race was shocking!! I still had 40psi in the rear tyres.
My reaction time was pretty bad at 1.150, I then did a fair bit of wheel spin.
I lost the race (as I expected) I got a 16.1 at 138.74k's.

After that race I dropped the tyre pressure to 30psi.

The next 2 races, I was up against Tim. I won both of these races, but don't have times as the printer died, and lost my slips. (grrr)
A mate of mine told me that one of my runs was a 15.7

Tim left after that. So in my next race - I was up against a white commodore ute. I knew I didn't stand a chance at winning.
I actually did surprisingly well though.
My reaction time was 0.930 (still can be better) and I got a 15.5 at 142.45k's.
I was pretty happy with that result. I was hoping to get a 15.5 at some point during the night. (click here to see a mpg of this race)

It was another hour before I got my last race. There was a spill on the track and it took ages to clean up.

When I saw that I was up against "MR5LTR" a purple commodore - I knew I was going to have another loss.
My reaction time was a bit better at 0.609, and I got a 15.6 at 142.22k's.

I had heaps of fun though. 2 victories for me this time. Cant wait to do it again.

Tim and Me just after the green light!
