Off Street Drags - 05 Sept 2001

Tonight was a very interesting night.
I got out to Eastern creek at about 4:20, which wasn't too bad considering I didn't leave Roman Autotek until 3:45.(I was there getting a custom momo leather gear boot for my car.)

I met up with Chris and his new mustang, and prepared myself for loosing (when you are up against a 4.6 quad cam you expect to lose)

But shock of all shocks - I won!!!
I got 15.2 @ 146kph. reaction time of 0.600
Chris got 17.1 @ 146kph - reaction time of 0.662
The only reason I won was cos he spent most of those 17 secs going sideways.

I was hoping to get a 14 tonight... but didn't quite make it. Hopefully I will get it next time.

The night was ended early when a car snapped a tail shaft, and the fuel tank ruptured and spilt fuel all over the track.
