Eastern Creek Drags - September 19th.

I was supposed to work tonight, but I received a call at 4pm saying that work had been cancelled, so I jumped in my car and headed down to sydney.

1 hour later I was out meeting some friends, who where planning on racing, and wanted to borrow my helmet. With no fuel left in my car, and having just done over 120km freeway driving I decided not to race, and to let them use it.

So we all jumped in the wagon (the car that was going to have a run) and headed out to eastern creek.

As we got there the security guard asked Mick if he was spectating. Mick said "No - I am racing". The security guy then pissed himself laughing...

 Around at scruiteneering we also got a few looks... "Does your mum know you have the car" one guy called out. 
When mick started the car up - they all stopped there jokes and laughter... the car sounds like a top fueler.!!!

Mick had the first 2 runs. 16.3, and a 16.2

I had the next run. I did a 16.2
Mick did another 16.2, then I did one again, and finally at the last race (the 2nd last race of the night) Mick did a 16.1

He was actually really impressed with his times. Its the first time he has ever been on a track, and the car is a stock as a rock fairmont station wagon. (the only mod is 1 muffler removed)

He wants to get out there again and see if he can get a high 15. I dont think I ever want to race it again - automatics are too boring for me.
