Dragtag Got up bright and early this morning, and headed into Melbourne... trying to remember where dragtag was so I could get fitted for the dragtag brackets. After arriving, I met Annalise at reception, and started on the paperwork. Chris "ORSMXR" from the ORSM Ford Cruisers club came over to grab my keys so he could fit the brackets to my car, that would enable the car to be automatically clamped into the dyno when racing. After the brackets were fitted - it was photo time. I am a bit camera shy, and luckily the camera stopped working when it was time for them to take my photo for my ID card (YAY), so I got a blank ID card, which I advised I would insert a pic of Angelina Jolie onto. Next up was a driving lesson - of how to drag race on a dyno. Its very different to real drag racing, and took a few goes before I got the hang of it (even though I didnt go very fast) Cant wait to get down for a demo night so I can have some more fun!! |
