Hmmmm V8 Supercars...

This morning I got up really early... earlier that I needed to.
I had spent the night at a mates place in the blue mountains. At about 4:30am I was awoken by what I thought was the sound of a  chainsaw.. after a few minutes I realised it was the sound of snoring coming through the bedroom wall... urgh!!!

The Cars from the club lined up.
We left to go to Eastern Creek just after 6am. We had to meet everyone
from the Tickford owners club of NSW at the Pit Stop Cafe.

As I parked at the Pit Stop cafe I though it was quite amusing. One side of the car park was full of Holdens.. the late model ones at the front - the early model ones at the back.
The other side of the car park was full of Fords.. The late model ones at the back, the early model ones at the front.

When most of the guys had arrived, we all jumped in our cars and made
our way over the Eastern Creek. We where putting our cars on display,
and we needed to get all the cars lined up and put all the new club
fliers everywhere...

We lined our cars at the "Good Spot" at the top of the straight. The GT
Club lined up behind us. We then settled down to watch the action.
(although some peoples idea of watching the action didn’t involve looking
at cars....)

The GT owners club cars on display.
On our way back home I noticed my car was pinging its nuts off. It sounded as though something was about to explode in my engine.

It turned out to be some dodgy Optimax. A top up with Mobil Synergy 8000 and some 104+ Octane Booster fixed that up no probs!!
