Sunday April 14th 2002. 

The annual Ford Owners day was on today. I had never been to this event before so I was unsure as to what to expect.

I met up with "Stretch", "Wagon_Man", and "Adviliax Mortus" at 7am near parramatta, and we headed out to Bankstown for the show. 

The Tickford Club had 1 entire row for our display, which worked out perfect - as we had just enough cars to fill the row. The club had a few awards for the cars. "Venom" and "Stretch" tied for top AU, Bev won top EF/EL, and I won top EB/ED. 

There where a lot of really nice cars there. A good effort from the coupe club with a lot of awesome cars to drool over. My fave was a black coupe with a 351 in it. Not sure if it was a genuine GT or not - but it looked AWESOME!!

The event was really well run, and attracted a lot of interest from the public. People were coming up all day and asking about the cars and the club. 

With a few hundred cars there, and all the proceeds of the day being donated to the Bankstown hospital - it was a very good day. I will definatly be going back next year. The Tickford club has also decided to make this event our official show and shine day each year.
