Truck-a-saurus.....

Today I went to the monster trucks on at gosford. I had never seen them before, but as an avid simpsons fan I thought it might be worth a laugh.

The adds on the TV made it look pretty good - lots of destruction, smashing, bashing and carnage. Explosives, fireworks, and lots of noise.

I met up with Mark and Bruno over at Marks place, and then we all headed down there together.

We got there at about 6pm, and then proceded to wait around for about an hour before the show started.

Honestly it was a bit of a let down. They only had one truck in action most of the time (the landcruiser).

The landcruiser and cadillac monter trucks.
There where a few good things on the night though....

"Tiger the terrible" was jumping a row of cars, in a small car. On the 2nd jump he missed, and didnt clear the cars, and came crashing down on top of them. He then lit em up, and did a burn out on the roof of one of the cars he had landed on, and blew out one of the tyres (too bad it was a single spinner)

"Tiger the terrible" was supposed to jump through a burning carivan and over 2 parked cars. He made it through the carivan and smashed into the first car, then rolled on to his roof.

The best part of the night was when one of the monster trucks jumped over a small plane. We decided to call it a night then. and left (along with most of the other people there.)

One of  the highlights of the night.
