| I met up with a couple of the guys from Ford Forums this morning. We
met out at Penrith and drove down to oran park together.
We got out there just after 9:30, and got a park right near the track. This was the first time I had driven in the main entrance (the time before I had used the entrance that goes to the pits) and I was a bit worried about the amount of very large pot holes, and the effect it would have on my tyres and rims. It didn't take long to find a good spot to sit down and watch the races. |

Unfortunately for us, the spot we where sitting in was quite wet. the
water was seeping up through the blanket, and those of us who had forgotten
to bring chairs, ended up with very wet cold butts.
That combined with the freezing wind, made the day a little less enjoyable, but we still managed to enjoy the races. The VB V8 challenge was pretty good. I have only seen it twice, and each time the falcon has won all 3 races. I didn't stick around till the end. when it started raining, we decided to call it a day and make our way home. Next time I will defiantly remember to bring a chair, a blanket, and a few more jumpers. |
