Saturday February 9th 2002. 

With the rain that sydney has been getting all week (plus the big hail storm too) I wasn't sure if the photo shoot would actually happen at all. 
I had people calling me all morning to check if it was still happening, cos it was sprinkling on and off all morning. I decided to say yes, and met everyone at Eastern Creek Maccas at 2pm, and see what the weather was like. It was starting to clear up, so I called Paul from Performance Ford magazine, and told him to meet us all at oran park raceway where we where having the photo shoot. Oran Park was supposed to be the "mystery photo shoot location", but somehow most of the people knew where it was going to be.

We arrived at oran park a little early. The drive day from the Australian Academy of Motorsports was still on, so we all watched the action for a while, and waiting for Paul to turn up to take the photo's.

It wasn't long before he arrived, and we got straight into things. The first shot was behind the pits. We decided to have 6 cars in the front (1 of each model) so I went in search of a few cars. "EB ON NOS" was the only EB there, my ED (obviously), a nice red EF (cant remember the guys name), "Tickin's" EL, "Nippers" AU, and "Wassa's" TS50. 

After that we went around to the track and had some photo's taken on the grid. I guess the excitement of being on a track was a little too much for some people, and they felt the necessity to show off a little. After having another few group shots, and a lot of individual shots, we where all done, and most of us headed home.
