Giraween , NSW.
After leaving the AAM Drive day, I headed over to Giraween to watch the FordXR6Turbo.com dyno day. I was delayed a little bit in getting there, because on my way over I saw a Truck on fire on the side of the the Northern RD. With Black smoke billowing out of the back of the truck, 2 men where there, frantically trying to get there tools out of harms way, and wacking the flames with there shirts to put out the fire. I pulled over on the side of the road, and said to the passenger in my car, "quick - get the fire extinguisher". He grabbed it, and ran across the road, and had the fire out in no time. "Your the Man! Your the Man!" they guys with the truck cheered. Poor guys - they lost quite a few tools, but managed to save a couple of expensive electric circular saws and other stuff (that I don't know the name of). Anyways - we stuck around there for a little bit, to try and help the guys out, and when everything was under control, we headed off to the dyno day. By the time we got there all the XR6T's had done there runs, but there where quite a few other falcons still running. I walked up to one of the guys (who was actually 1 of the guys who fitted my gear box), and asked for his car keys. He handed them over, and I walked over to his car "Check this out" I said to the passenger from my car. I popped the bonnet to reveal a twin turbo 5L. within about 10 seconds there were crowds of people around the car that no one had noticed before (it was the stockest looking car there) Anyways - after a hour or so, we headed home.
